According to a 2014 study, the lifespan of great white sharks is estimated to be as long as 70 years or more, well above previous estimates, making it one of the longest lived cartilaginous fish currently known. Did you know that the special head shape of a hammerhead shark helps the species in its food supply thanks to the wide field of vision it provides?
Hammerheads are found worldwide in warmer waters along coastlines and continental shelves. Unlike most sharks, some hammerhead species usually swim in schools during the day, becoming solitary hunters at night. The known species range from 0.9 to 6.0 m (3.0 to 19.7 ft) in length and weigh from 3 to 580 kg (6.6 to 1,278.7 lb). They are usually light gray and have a greenish tint. Their bellies are white, which allows them to blend into the ocean when viewed from the bottom and sneak up on their prey. Their heads have lateral projections which give them a hammer-like shape. Octopuses produce ink that can disturb their enemies. In the game wWhen you use the bottle of octopus ink the fishes cannot see anything and they do stop for a while.
A microbial fuel cell (MFC) is a device that converts chemical energy to electrical energy by the action of microorganisms. In the game when you use a portion of electricity from MFC, some fishes get stunned for a while. On the other hand, if a fish can use electricity they can get exited.
Ideonella sakaiensis is a bacterium from the genus Ideonella and family Comamonadaceae capable of breaking down and consuming the plastic poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) as a sole carbon and energy source. In the game the bacteria has developed so that it can break down all visible garbage.
